& Athletic Excellence
On behalf of the University of San Francisco and our 14 D-I athletic programs, thank you for your support of USF Athletics. Your generosity through annual gifts has supported thousands of USF student-athletes in their quest to excel academically, athletically, in the community, and as leaders in the world.
To build on our rich athletic history, I am proud to announce the new San Francisco Dons Fund (SFDF) with a stratified giving plan that will recognize your loyalty and generosity to USF Athletics. This annual giving model will deliver donor benefits in a timely and consistent manner, offer unique opportunities to enjoy exclusive events, and ensure that you continue to receive communication from your favorite sports. All annual solicitations and associated benefits will now channel through the SFDF, decreasing the number of solicitations you will receive each year and unifying our annual giving effort.
Our head coaches support this change because every program will now receive the budget resources it needs to compete. As a result, coaches will now get to focus on what they most enjoy: working with their current student-athletes and recruiting the best and brightest student-athletes this country has to offer. In the attached brochure, you will find an explanation of the benefits program and how your gifts support our outstanding student-athletes. We are very excited about this plan, as it will better serve you, our coaches, and our student-athletes. Thank you for your support, and Go Dons!

A message from our Head Coaches…
It is an honor to be a head coach at the University of San Francisco. Each and every day, we have the opportunity to work with the best and brightest student-athletes in the United States. The conference championships and accolades are special, but the true reward of our job is seeing these student-athletes excel both inside and outside of the sports world after they leave The Hilltop.
Your support of the San Francisco Dons Fund allows us to spend less time soliciting for our operating budgets and more time working with our student-athletes. The ability to spend more time on the field, in the video room, and on the recruiting trail will help ensure USF’s success both now and in the future.
Thank you for the support you give to all 14 Athletic Programs and 225 student-athletes. The success our student-athletes enjoy on the field and in the classroom would not be possible without you. Go Dons!
