(San Francisco) - The University of San Francisco Athletic Department in conjunction with the USF Bookstore and the USF Residence Life Office encourages all Dons supporters to wear "Game Day Green".

To encourage fans to don "Game Day Green", the USF Bookstore will offer a 20 percent discount for all merchandise featuring green in it Thursday-Friday, September 20-21. This offer is only valid at the USF Bookstore's main location in the lower level of Phelan Hall.

The USF Residence Life Office also is in full support of the initiative and staff members will wear "Game Day Green" on game days throughout the Fall Season.

This special promotion coincides with a busy sports weekend on the Hilltop, beginning Thursday, September 20 when the USF men's soccer team, ranked No. 12 nationally, hosts No. 5 UCLA at Negoesco Stadium.

Volleyball welcomes Cal State Bakersfield Friday, September 21 in a 7:00 PM match at War Memorial Gym and then take on defending Ivy League Champion Cornell in a 5:00 PM contest Saturday. The weekend closes out with another big men's soccer battle as the Dons host New Mexico in a rematch of last season's thrilling NCAA Tournament First Round battle.
