Christina Cribbs has been named the new Assistant Athletic Director of Budget, Facilities and Events at the University of San Francisco as announced today by Athletic Director Debra Gore-Mann. Cribbs brings extensive experience at the collegiate, regional and national level to the position, serving in a similar capacity at Stanford since 2007.

"Christina brings considerable NCAA Division 1 intercollegiate experience as a manager of facilities, events, personnel and budgets which make her an ideal fit for USF Athletics," Gore-Mann said. "I am confident she will do an outstanding job for us and we look forward to welcoming her to the USF family."

Cribbs' duties with the USF Athletic Department will encompass a wide variety of internal functions. Cribbs will supervise and manage the Athletic Department budget and finances, athletic events, external relations events and facilities for USF's 14 NCAA Division I athletic teams. In addition, as a member of the senior staff, Cribbs will represent the department at West Coast Conference and NCAA meetings pertaining to budget, events and facilities.

A proven performer with strong credentials in Division I athletics, Cribbs served as the Senior Events and Operations Manager at Stanford University, beginning in March of 2007. During her tenure on the Farm, Cribbs was responsible for game management operations and logistics for football, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, women's lacrosse, field hockey and softball. Cribbs oversaw, hired and trained 14 event managers.

In addition to her operational duties, Cribbs also had budgetary responsibility for several Stanford facilities and was in charge of game management budgets for seven athletic programs including men's and women's basketball. Cribbs was the Facility Manager for four Stanford Athletic facilities - Cagan Stadium (soccer), Boyd and Jill Smith Family Stadium (softball), Turf Field (field hockey) and the Band Shak.

Before joining Stanford Athletics, Cribbs spent more than three years working for Anne Cribbs & Company in various capacities, rising to an event manager. She served as the operations manager for the 2006 & 2007 World Junior Table Tennis Championships, the 2006 & 2007 Bay Area Senior Games and the FINA 2006 World Master's Championships. Cribbs was actively involved with the Bay Area Sports Organizing Committee (BASOC) attempting to bring the Olympic Games to the Bay Area.

Cribbs worked more than three years in the private financial sector after completing her undergraduate degree and served as a product manager in financial markets for marcus evans. Her responsibilities included organization, design and execution of multiple national and international conferences. Before working at marcus evans, Cribbs worked at the International Communications for Management as a National Accounts Manager.

A two-sport athlete at Mercy College, Cribbs earned eight varsity letters in basketball and softball, graduating in 1998 with a BS in Behavioral Science. Cribbs added a MBA at Lynn University in 2004.
