Rachel Engrissei joined the USF Athletic Department in September 2008 as the Assistant Media Relations Director. She serves as the primary contact for volleyball, women's basketball, men's tennis and track and field. Prior to joining the Dons, Engrissei worked as a graduate assistant in the Sports Information office at Gonzaga University. While with the Zags, she worked primarily with baseball, women's soccer and men's and women's tennis, while also working on numerous publications for the athletic department. Engrissei also served as a Communications Assistant for the Big East Conference during 2005-06. At the Big East, she was the primary conference contact for women's lacrosse, rowing, women's soccer, softball, men's and women's swimming and diving, as well as men's and women's tennis. Prior to her position at the Big East, she worked as an undergraduate student assistant at Washington State, where she worked with the baseball, rowing and swimming programs. Engrissei earned her Bachelor of Arts in communication from Washington State in May of 2005, before earning a Master of Sport and Athletic Administration from Gonzaga in 2008. |
