Jordan Wilcox was hired as a full time Assistant Media Relations Director in January, 2008. In her current role, she is the main media contact for Baseball, Women's Soccer, Men's and Women's Cross Country, and Women's Tennis. Wilcox writes press releases, game stories, media guides, and serves as official scorer for soccer and baseball. Wilcox was previously a grad assistant in the Media Relations department at USF (2005-2007) while she earned her Master's of Sport Management. Wilcox earned two B.A.'s from Washington State University, one in Communications with a Broadcast emphasis, and the other in Sport Management. While at WSU, Wilcox worked for three seasons in the baseball office, and also volunteered her time in the Sports Information, Marketing/Promotions, and Men's Basketball offices. She produced a sports show (Inside the Lines) for WSU's student run cable station, Cable 8, and also served on the Board of Directors. Wilcox's sporting interests include baseball, college football, skateboarding and BMX. Her hobbies include shoe shopping, interior design, and cupcake baking. Wilcox resides in San Francisco with her adorable dog Lucy. |
