SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – USF men's soccer released this years Spring schedule today, announced Head Coach Erik Visser. The Dons return six All-West Coast Conference selections and are coming off a 6-7-5 season in which they ranked in the top-three in the WCC in shots on goal, corner kicks and goals against.
The Dons kick-off the schedule on March 23, hosting Bay Area-rival Dominican University at 10 a.m. followed by a match-up against San Francisco State at noon at Negoesco Stadium.
Two weeks later, on April 5, the team will play its second double-header of the Spring, hosting Notre Dame de Namur at 4:30 p.m. and San Jose State at 7 p.m. The Dons defeated the Spartans last season, 2-0, in San Jose.
The Dons travel to Novato on April 21 to challenge Dominican and Sonoma State, with game times to be determined.
USF rounds out its Spring season with a pair of games on April 27. The Dons will host Cal State Stanislaus at 11 a.m. at Negoesco Stadium before heading down to Stanford to take on the Cardinal at 3 p.m.
