SAN FRANCISCO - Zach Turner was named a first team All-West Region and third team All-America selection by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings as a designated hitter.
In addition, right fielder
Bradley Zimmer earned a spot on the second team All-West team..
Turner led the Dons in hitting (.333), hits (76), RBI (72), home runs (8) and total bases (115) as a junior in helping USF to a 35-24 overall mark and a NCAA Regional appearance.
Zimmer also earned first team All-WCC honors as a sophomore after topping the club in runs scored (48), slugging (.512) and stole bases (19) while finishing second in batting (.320), home runs (7) and RBI (37).
