The NCAA annually honors teams earning multiyear Academic Progress Rates in the top 10 percent of all squads in each sport. For the 2012-13 reporting year, the University of San Francisco women's basketball team earned its first national recognition after holding down an APR of 1,000.

The APR represents a four-year rolling average and provides a clear picture of the academic culture of a program.  The latest figures, released by the NCAA May 7, represent a combination of scores beginning with the 2009-10 academic year.
