Boyce is one of three Connors State players sign with Division I schools, following Corlbe Irvin (Kansas State) and Phabian Glasco (Western Kentucky).
Â
"We feel very fortunate to announce the signing of Ronnie Boyce to our basketball program," said Walters. "Ronnie comes from one of the best junior college programs in the nation. I really like his skill set as a scorer and playmaker and we feel he has a chance to make an immediate impact on our team next season."
Â
Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Boyce graduated from Putnam High School where he averaged 20.7 points, 6.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game as a senior on Shawn Deary's team. In 71 varsity games, he averaged 12.4 points.
