SAN FRANCISCO –– The USF women's tennis team will face No. 39 South Alabama on Saturday at 1 p.m. in a non-conference matchup at the California Tennis Club.
The Dons are still searching for their first win of the season, hoping to snap a seven-match losing streak this weekend against the Jaguars. Last weekend, the shorthanded Green and Gold faced UCSB, but lost 6-1 to the Gauchos.

South Alabama will take on San Jose State on Friday before its match against the Dons on Saturday. The Jaguars have won seven straight, including a win over then-No. 13 LSU in Baton Rouge on Feb. 14. Led by No. 52 Alexandra Stiteler, who has put together a 6-1 record this spring at No. 1 singles, South Alabama has a 43-18 overall dual match singles record in 2016.
Â
Andrea Ka has been lights out for the Dons this year, with a 5-1 record at No. 1 singles and 5-2 record in doubles. The senior's only loss this year came against Pacific's Viktoriya Dzyuba.

Fans are encouraged to make it out to the Cal Club, where matches are free all season. Also stay tuned to USFDons.com for all match recaps and follow
