SAN FRANCISCO – The sixth episode of "Behind the Mask," makes its debut on Comcast SportsNet California tonight at 8 p.m.
The show which takes viewers beyond the game with a unique inside look in to all 15 of the Dons' varsity sports, features action from the end of the winter sports season to the inception of the spring season.
The seniors of the women's basketball team, set to represent USF in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1997, is featured as the team prepares for a first round matchup against Stanford on Saturday.
Taylor Proctor and
Zhane Dikes are also highlighted as the pair reflect on their time on the Hilltop - taking the Dons from a 12-win team three years ago, to a 21-win season and a West Coast Conference championship this year.
The season is previewed as
beach volleyball takes to the courts. The team and coaches open their fourth year on the sand, and the first as an NCAA-sanctioned sport. Off to the best start in program history and a No. 13 national ranking, the Dons have opened the year with an 8-1 record.
Ryan Marker, a freshman who has climbed his way to the No. 2 singles spot on the men's tennis team, is highlighted as the Rookie of the Month.
Tatjana Schulte is in the Dons Spotlight as she talks about her debut on the Hilltop as a member of the women's track and field team.
As always, the show concludes with Playmakers, reliving some of the top scenes of the past month, including the men's and women's basketball games at the WCC Championships. This segment also features clips of the spring sports, including baseball, tennis and track and field, golf and beach volleyball. [
