USF's student-athletes achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.36 during the recently completed fall semester while 72 percent (167 of 232) of the university's student-athlete population achieved a grade point average of at least a 3.0.
 
In addition, 82 student-athletes earned a spot on the university's Dean's Honor Roll, which recognizes students who have achieved and have maintained cumulative a grade point average of at least 3.50. A total of 17 student-athletes achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average during the fall semester.
 
A total of 12 teams achieved a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.0, with the women's track (3.82) and women's golf (3.52) teams posting the department's highest team GPAs.
 
USF was also well-represented on various WCC All-Academic teams during the spring. A total of 20 student-athletes received WCC All-Academic recognition, including seven first team selections.
