COACHES QUOTES
USF head coach Helen Lehman-Winters
On the plan for the race
"Our plan for today was to just have a solid showing and keep our momentum rolling into the NCAA championships next weekend. We feel like we accomplished just that, and l know all of our women feel that they have more to give at Nationals."
Â
On having three of the top 10 finishers
"Three women in the top ten in the region is legit, and we are pleased with how well they all managed themselves in this field. Charlotte ran with relative ease and Weronika and Isabelle measured it off really well. Marie was really solid, with this being her first big race all year, and we are confident that will be even sharper next weekend. Tatjana continues to be really tough and really came on strong the second half of the race."
Â
On the depth of the team
"One of the strengths of this team is that not only do we have the firepower up front, but we also have an entire team of women who are all capable of being in our scoring five."
