2012 WCC ALL-ACADEMIC

2012 Indoor: Earned All-WCC Volleyball honorable mention honors…Earned WCC All-Academic Squad honors…led the team in kills with 370, averaging 3.39 per set (7th best in the West Coast Conference)…finished first on the team in points with 444…led the team in service aces with 45, averaging 0.43 per set (2nd best in the WCC)…notched five service aces at Gonzaga (10/4)…best kills-aces-digs-blocks stat lines this season were versus Eastern Washington (8/24), at UC Davis (9/11) and at Santa Clara (11/8) where she put up 21 kills each time…tallied 17 digs at UC Davis (9/11) and 14 digs versus Eastern Washington (8/24).

2011 Indoor: Played in 104 out of 108 total sets, starting in 28 of 29 matches… tallied 255 kills and 2.45 kills per set, good for second and third place on the team, respectively… led squad in total attempts with 842 and service aces with 34.

2010 SEASON AT OREGON: Led the Ducks in blocking with 0.84 blocks per set… played in all 30 matches at the middle blocker position… registered a block in 27 out of 30 matches… totaled five or more blocks in nine matches… notched a service ace in 16 matches to finish with 23 aces… totaled six blocks against Florida Gulf Coast (9/1)…smashed a career-high eight kills, career-high nine blocks and career-high three service aces at Seattle (9/6)… tied her career-high with three service aces against American along with six blocks (9/10)… finished with seven blocks, two of them solo, against Washington State (9/24)… recorded six blocks against then-No. 10 UCLA (11/19).

2009 SEASON AT OREGON: Was one of three freshman hitters that understudied behind several of Oregon’s greatest offensive threats.... played in 17 matches and 27 sets – second-most among freshman hitters – and nine matches and 15 sets during Pac-10 play... when starter Heather Meyers sprained an ankle in mid-September, she responded with career highs that night in kills (11), hitting (.259), points (12.5) and blocks (3) in four-set win at returning NCAA qualifier Utah.... top Pac-10 hitting stats came at then-No. 22 Arizona in early October when she had five kills on eight attempts and hit .625.... had two kills in wins against then-No. 7 UCLA in mid-November, against Seattle and at Portland in early September... the first month of the season, she claimed blocks in five straight matches, including multiple ones in four of those contests.

Prep/Club career: A top-50 Prepvolleyball.com senior prospect... named to the 2008 Under Armour Second-Team.... earned PrepVolleyball.com All-American honors... voted 3A State Player of the Year in 2008... the two-time team captain was a SPSL 3A All-League First-Team choice as a sophomore, junior and senior and Second-Team honoree as a freshman... named the conference co-MVP as a senior and helped her team to a 3A league title and a 9-0 record... led her team to fifth place overall finish in the 2008 state tournament (in its third consecutive appearance)... at the club level, she played five seasons for the Puget Sound Volleyball Club and helped her team place 17th in the 16-open division in the '07 USAV Junior Olympics... her Washington Volleyball Academy team placed 26th in the 17-open division in the 2008 USAV Junior Olympics... she also lettered four seasons in basketball and competed in track and field in the high jump one season... named Female Athlete of the Year at Sumner High School... she was also a four-year Washington 4H Equestrian competitor, represented Pierce Country in the state fair three years and earned a championship in horse judging in 2004.

Personal: Jocelyn Rochelle Levig... father is Kerry Levig, mother and stepfather are Shirley and Whit Baker, and has two younger brothers Wade and Gareth Baker... was born December 1990... her stepfather Whit was an Oregon hurdler (1969-70)... mother Shirley was an NCAA outdoor shot put runner-up and indoor All-American for Washington and a 1988 Olympic Trials qualifier.... career goal at USF is to reach her full potential as a player and help the Dons get back to the NCAA tournament... chose USF because of the beautiful campus, her love of art and the career opportunities in art in the city... interests include: reading, trying out new restaurants, exploring the city, drawing and visiting museums... major is design.
