Williams Posts Personal Best At Brutus Hamilton

(Berkeley, Calif.) - Byron Williams, of the USF Track and Field team, posed a personal best and fourth place finish in the 1500 Saturday during the second day of the Brutus Hamilton Invitational in Berkeley, Calif. Williams ran the race in a time of 3:52.08, finishing fourth overall.
The Dons posted two additional top-10 finishes on the afternoon, highlighted by Williams' fourth place finish. In the men's shot put, junior Alex Irani placed tenth thanks to a 13.15 mark. While on the women's side, in the same event, Alanna Nulph posted a seventh place finish with a 13.15 mark.
Also in the 1500, Will Marquardt finished 18th with a time of 4:01.55.
