Complete Cal/Nevada Final Results in PDF Format

Complete SFSU Distance Carnival Results in PDF Format

The USF Track and Field Teams had athletes competing in the Cal/Nevada Championships at Fresno St. and the San Francisco State Distance Carnival Saturday afternoon.

Leading the Dons in Fresno was freshman Nicole Bowler who set another personal record by finishing fifth in the 800m with a time of 2:14.40 and junior Alex Delgadillo who placed fifth in the men's javelin with a throw of 53.79m, a personal best by over seven meters.

Also running well in Fresno was junior Michelle Born who set a personal best in the women's 1500m with a time of 4:40.53, which was good enough for 10th place overall and sophomore Brianna Junior who finished 11th in the women's triple jump.

At San Francisco State the Dons were led by sophomore Byron Williams who was the top collegian (fourth overall) in the men's 800m with a time of 1:56.34. Brothers Devin and Colin Hopkins both set personal bests in the same race with Colin clocking in at 1:58.21 and Devin finishing in 1:59.54.

The Dons will have athletes competing next weekend at the prestigious Stanford Invitational. For complete results from today's action please click on the links above.
