The USF Track and Field teams traveled to UC Davis this afternoon to compete in the Woody Wilson Open. Leading the team was senior Cheyne Inman who won the men's 1500m with a time of 3:59.84. Inman was near the back of the pack after two laps, but made a strong move over the next six hundred meters to gain the lead and hold off the rest of the competitors for the victory.

Also running well for the men was junior Alex Nelson who placed fourth in the men's 800m with a time of 1:53.94.

The women were led by junior Michelle Born who placed second in the 1500m with a time of 4:40.97, a new personal best. Freshman Amelia Holcombe also set a new personal record in the women's 5000m race with a time of 18:06.81, beating her old personal best by 40 seconds.
