The USF track and field teams set two school records at the Triton Invitational Saturday afternoon in San Diego California.

Junior Lucy Miller finished fourth in the 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:09.23 to beat her old school record of 11:19.90 and freshmen Briana Junior finished ninth in the women's triple jump with a mark of 11.14m to beat her school record of 10.64m, set earlier this season.

Also running well for the Dons on the womens side was senior Renee Stribling in 1500m where she finished eighth with a time of 4:35.40. Freshmen Alice Hobbs (5:02.85) and Christine Jowaiszas (4:53.01) both set personal records in the 1500m, with Hobbs also getting a personal record in 800m (2:25.44).

On the men's side, sophomore Alex Nelson, who set a new school record last week in the 1500m, finished tenth in the same race with a time of 3:54.94, the second fast time in school history.

In the shot put, freshmen A.J. Fabrizio (13.51m) and Alex Irani (12.90m) both set personal records with their throws. Senior Jorge Martinez also set a new personal record in the men's 1500m with a time of 4:12.58.
