The USF Track and Field teams competed in the second day of the Brutus Hamilton Invitational Saturday afternoon at UC Berkeley.

The women had two school records set in field events when junior Brynn Maurer threw 34.49m in the javelin, beating her old school record of 34.08 and junior Brianna Junior jumped 11.59m in the triple jump, barely eclipsing her old mark of 11.57m. On the track the women were led by senior Zita Mezei and freshman Nicole Bowler who placed third and fourth in the 1500m with Mezei finishing in 4:35.31 and Bowler finishing in 4:38.22.

For the men freshman Ravi Amarawansa placed 13th in the men's 1500m with a new personal best time of 3:58.34, beating his old best by over four seconds.
