Complete NAC Friday Results in PDF Format
The USF Track and Field teams competed in the first day of the National Athletic Conference Championships today in Provo, Utah. Junior Brynn Maurer won the women's javelin competition with a new school record throw of 35.28m, beating her second place competitor by over three meters. Also setting a new school record for the Dons on Friday was sophomore Briana Junior who ran a 26.03 in the 200m, which qualified her for the finals that will take place tomorrow. In the men's javelin, junior Alex Delgadillo placed second for the Dons with a throw of 51.61m, earning eight points for the team. Also qualifying for the for tomorrow's finals in the women's 400m was freshman Gabriel Harrington who finished with a time of 62.08.
