Michelle Born to Compete in USF's First Steeple Chase Event
USF Track Set to Compete in Hornet Invitational

This Saturday, March 26, the USF men's and women's track teams will travel to Sacramento, CA to participate in the Hornet Invitational. Hosted by Sac State, the competition will take place at the Hornet Stadium, the location of the 2006 and 2007 NCAA Div. I Outdoor Track and Field Championships and the site of the past two Olympic Trials.

Running events begin at 10:00 am with the 3000 women's steeple chase. Represented by Lucy Miller and Michelle Born, USF will compete in the steeple chase event for the very first time. Renee Stribling and Ashton LeSieur will participate in the 800 meters. Dons Liz Noey, Jennifer Hartford, and Katie Matl will run the 3000.

On the men's side, Cheyne Inman will run in the 3000 while Alex Nelson and Ryan Courtwright will lead the team at 1500 meters. Heat sheets will be posted on gohornets.com on Thursday.
