Alex Nelson will compete in the Invitational mile for the Dons
USF Track And Field Teams Set To Compete In Brutus Hamilton Invitational

The USF Track and Field teams will head across the Bay to UC Berkeley this Friday and Saturday to compete in the Brutus Hamilton Invitational.

Leading the Dons on Friday will be senior school record holder Cheyne Inman in the men's 5000m, junior Michelle Born in the women's 5000m and sophomore school record holder Alex McIntosh in the pole vault.

Leading the women on Saturday will be senior Zita Mezei and freshmen Nicole Bowler and Amelia Holcombe in the 1500m, sophomore Briana Junior in the triple jump and junior Brynn Maurer in the javelin. Junior and Maurer both hold the USF record in their respective events.

Competing for the men in the discus and shot put will be sophomores A.J. Fabrizio and Alex Irani and freshman Oliver Kirkeby. Sophomore Byron Williams and freshman Ravi Amarawansa will lead the Dons in the 1500m and competing in the Men's Invitational mile, one of the most competitive races of the meet, will be junior Alex Nelson, who holds the school record in both the 1500m and 800m.
