(San Francisco) - USF track is proud to announce the 2006 San Francisco Track and Field Invitational, scheduled for Saturday, April 29 at fabled Kezar Stadium. The second annual event features 10 collegiate teams - Cal, Cal State Humboldt, Holy Names, Pacific, San Francisco State, San Jose State, Santa Clara, Sonoma State, UC Santa Cruz and meet host USF. The meet starts at 10:00 AM and the final event is slated for a 2:00 PM start. San Francisco enters the meet as the defending champion in the men's and women's distance medley relay (DMR), women's high jump and women's long jump. The Dons also posted the top collegiate times in the women's 800, 1500 and 4x800 relay. USF men posted top college finishes in the 5000 and 10,000 meter races.
