San Francisco Women's Cross Country Named to USTFCCCA All-Academic Team

(New Orleans, LA) - San Francisco women's cross country has been named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's (USTFCCCA) 2009 All-Academic Team. The women completed the fall semester with a 3.44 GPA.
For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, they must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Championship and also have a minimum 3.00 team cumulative GPA. The Dons competed in the NCAA Western Regional in Oregon.
USF joined three other West Coast Conference teams on the list, surpassing two of them. Portland led the pack at 3.28, followed by USF at 3.44. Loyola Marymount finished with a 3.28 and Santa Clara rounded it out with 3.04.
