(New Orleans, LA) - San Francisco men's cross country has been named to the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's (USTFCCCA) 2009 All-Academic Team. The men completed the fall semester with a 3.45 GPA.
For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, they must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Championship and also have a minimum 3.00 team cumulative GPA. The Dons competed in the NCAA Western Regional in Oregon.
USF joined two other West Coast Conference teams on the list, finishing first out of the three. USF's 3.45 GPA was higher than both Portland's 3.30 and Santa Clara's 3.24.
