San Francisco cross country is gearing up for the Stanford Invitational this Saturday, September 27. The men's race begins at 10:50 AM and the women's race starts at 11:30 AM on the Stanford Golf Course.

USF women are coming off a win at the Sacramento State Hornet Open, and a second place finish at the USF invite to start the 2008 season. Looking to continue that momentum, the line-up includes senior Michelle Born and sophomore Nicole Bowler, who finished first and second at Sac State. Also participating for the Dons are juniors Mary Verran, and Alice Hobbs, sophomores Laurel Kleiber, and Carly Holman, and freshmen Sophia Ditty, Haley Nemra, and Hillary Kigar.

USF men finished third at Sac State and second at the USF Invite. Runners in the men's line up include five true freshmen, Ganbileg Bor, Jeremy Grace, Thomas Estrada, Michael Barnes, and Tyler Alvarez. Three sophomores will also participate, Jesus Romo, Ravi Amarawansa, and Josh Horeled.
