2008 SEASON: Played in 12 games as a freshman... earned first collegiate hit and added two RBI versus Fairleigh Dickinson (3/22).

2007 SEASON: Redshired

PREP CAREER: Played four years of baseball at Deer Valley High School... helped team to a 2006 League Championship, batting .294 with 12 RBI, 10 walks, and a .433 OBP in 25 games... earned Second Team All-League honors... also played two years of football.

PERSONAL: Born on September 6, 1988 in San Francisco, CA... son of Kevyn and Cynthia Higgs... goal for the season to help the team win a conference championship... chose USF because of the coaches, the weather, and it's close to home...would like to be Coach Moore for a day to see what really goes on in there... best advice for youngsters is `Finish your food'... favorite movie is The Natural... favorite food is a burger, fries and a coke... majoring in Media Studies.
