2009 SEASON: Appeared in 19 games with 10 starts as a sophomore... three time WCC Pitcher of the Week... finished the season 4-6, 3.43 ERA... led the Dons with 88 strikeouts 89.1 innings... also led the Dons with a 3-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio (88-to-29)... made Dons debut at the University of Texas - San Antonio, tossing an inning of relief and striking out two (2/21)... the next day, struck out six in 4.1 innings of relief at UTSA (2/22)... in first start, earned a no decision after a 7.0 inning, 10 strikeout performance against Oklahoma State in the Palm Springs Tournament (3/7)... earned his first save at Washington (3/13)... took his first victory in the Washington finale, tossing 8.0 innings and striking out eight (3/15)... second win came in a start against Santa Clara (4/19)... tossed first complete game to earn the win (3) at Pepperdine, striking out a career high 12 (4/26)... fourth win and second complete game came at San Diego, striking out eight (5/10)... tossed 8.0 innings with seven strikeouts in final appearance at Portland (5/17).

2008 SUMMER: Led Bethesda Big Train at 3-0, 0.00 ERA in 18 appearances... had one start and a complete game shutout... led team with 10 saves... in 33.2 innings pitched did not allow an earned run, struck out 37 and walked just two... opponents batted just .148.

AT SANTA CLARA (2007-2008): Appeared in seven games as a freshman in 2007. Redshirted in 2008.

PREP CAREER: Played four years of baseball and one year of basketball at Capistrano Valley High School... played on four South Coast League Championship Teams, named All-South Coast League... played club for Encinitas Reds who were National Wood Bat Champions in 2005 ... pitched in the USA Goodwill Series in 2005 versus Australia ... in 2006 pitched in USA Goodwill Series versus Japan.
