PREP CAREER: Played four years of baseball at West High School... as a freshman batted .427 with one homerun and 23 RBI... his sophomore year, he batted .385 with six doubles, two homeruns, and 16 RBI... as a junior batted .360 with 32 hits, four doubles, two triples, two homeruns, and 19 RBI... his senior year he batted .378 with seven doubles, one triple and six homeruns... was named to the All-Bay League First Team three times, All-Daily Breeze First Team three times, and All-CIF twice... earned Team MVP as a sophomore and League MVP as a junior and senior... also ran one season of Cross Country.
