GENERAL CAPSULE: Looks healthy after recovering from injury... throws fastball 91-93 MPH... power breaking ball at 73 MPH.

AT USF (2006): Appeared in six games (five starts) before suffering a season ending injury... was 1-2 with a 6.35 ERA as a junior... had 17 strikeouts in 22.2 innings pitched... recorded season-high five strikeouts in victory against Sacramento State (2/11), tossing 7.0 innings.

AT USF (2005): Posted a 3-1 record as a sophomore... made 12 appearances with six starts... stepped up during West Coast Conference play, posting a 3.26 ERA and held batters to a .220 average... ranked sixth among league ERA leaders during WCC games... pitched 44.2 innings... had three consecutive wins to end season... first came at Santa Clara (5/7) after a 6.0 inning, two strikeout performance... earned second win at home vs. Portland (5/14), allowing one run in 6.2 innings with four strikeouts... third win came at Pepperdine (5/21).

AT USF (2004): Started 11 games and made 19 appearances during freshman year... won four games... threw five plus innings in a victory over Lafayette College (3/16)... went five strong innings in a win over UC Davis while giving up two runs (4/6)... no-decision against Santa Clara (5/9), allowing two unearned runs in six innings.

PREP CAREER: Played four seasons at Live Oak High School... named team MVP after both junior and senior years... named the Santa Clara County Athlete of the Year for 2003... drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the 2003 Amateur Draft.
