2006 WEST COAST CONFERENCE HONORABLE MENTION GENERAL CAPSULE: Crafty left-handed specialist... ability to throw any pitch at any time AT USF (2006): Left-hander appeared in 25 games, all in relief as a sophomore... had a 2-1 record with a 3.47 ERA and one save... had sparkling 11/1 strikeout/walk ratio... posted a 0.84 ERA in 10.2 innings during West Coast Conference play... in first appearance as a Don, threw 1.0 inning of scoreless relief, allowing one hit at UC Riverside (2/5)... had a stretch of six consecutive games with out allowing a run (3/1-4/15)... earned first save at Santa Clara (4/2), throwing 2.0 innings of scoreless relief, allowing just one hit... earned first win at Stanford (4/17), throwing 3.0 innings, allowing one earned run off four hits and struck out two batters... earned second win after throwing 0.1 innings of scoreless relief against Cal (4/25) in the Dante Benedetti Classic at AT&T Park... ended the regular season on a high note, throwing 1.0 scoreless inning, striking out two batters against Hawai'i (5/16).
