GENERAL CAPSULE - Versatile all-around athlete... great base runner... tremendous arm strength with accuracy... capable of developing into a reliable offensive threat. AT USF (2002) - Made 33 starts out of a total 34 games played... hit two doubles and two homeruns and collected 12 RBIs... base running prowess allowed him to steal 10 out of 12 bases on the season, a team-high. AT USF (2001) - Knocked in 12 runs off 17 hits during sophomore campaign at USF... appeared in 39 games with 21 starts... went 4-for-5 with a triple and four RBI against Cal State Hayward (4/16) and had another 4-for-5 day against San Francisco State (4/24) driving in three... went 2-for-4 with an RBI double at Loyola Marymount (3/25). MISCELLANEOUS - Began an unexpected point guard career with the men’s basketball team at USF in 2000-2001 when injuries depleted the Dons’ backcourt… scored career-high 22 points and went 6-for-7 from 3-point range against Lewis & Clark College (12/16/00). AT USF (2000) - Appeared in 15 games with six starts in his freshman year on the Hilltop… batted .290 with an RBI and three walks… made first career start at Sunken Diamond against #1 Stanford… terrific arm, recorded an assist from the outfield. PREP CAREER - Played baseball and basketball at St. Mary’s… received the Principal's Award twice... named All-Area Best Offensive Player.
