GENERAL CAPSULE - Had a great year towards the end of the season offensively and at third base... great attitude and work ethic... provides depth in the infield. AT USF (2002) - Nice surprise off the bench, hitting .344 in 10 games, all of them starts... hit four doubles and five RBIs. PREP CAREER - Played four years of baseball at Balboa High School... received conference honorable mention selection after sophomore season with the Bucaneers... named First Team All-City after junior and senior campaigns... was class valedictorian. PERSONAL - Khamis Zananiri... chose USF for its Jesuit tradition, the baseball program and because it's close to home... goal for the season is to be the best he can be for the team... best advice he could give to youngsters is to trust in God and don't worry about the rest... pizza is his favorite food... parents are Mufid and Nahla Zananiri... born July 8, 1983 in Anaheim, CA.
