USF Baseball Routed In Arizona As Wildcats Score 12 Runs In One Inning
TUCSON, Arizona (Jan. 29) -- San Francisco fell victim to the Arizona Wildcats' tremendous offense on Saturday, as the Dons lost 21-7 in the second game of a three-game series. Arizona sophomore Shelley Duncan tied his career-high with four hits, and junior Ryan O'Donnell drove in four runs as a pinch-hitter in one inning, as the Wildcats found several answers for the Dons' pitching staff. For the Dons, junior left fielder Danny Trumble singled and homered for USF, driving in a pair of runs. Preseason All-American Taggert Bozied had a relatively quiet day, going 1-for-5 with a double.
