Giving up an early 2-0 lead, San Francisco stormed back in the top of the fourth inning at Rainbow Stadium to put Hawaii away for good. Sending ten batters to the plate in the inning, the Dons scored six runs on six hits en route to a 10-4 victory.

The game also featured the return of Chris Thogersen, who started for the first time since Tommy John's surgery less than a year ago. He lasted four innings, scattering eight hits, three runs, and walking only one Rainbow batter he faced.

Picking up the decision, though, was reliever Phil Polanco, now 3-1 on the campaign.

Junior infielder Taggert Bozied came through with another big day, going 2-for-4 with a triple, an RBI, and a run scored. Senior second baseman Tony Hurtado also turned in a fine offensive performance going 1-for-2 with two walks, an RBI, and another "hit by pitch" to add to his resume.

San Francisco won two of the three games in the weekend series.

The Dons (5-4) now face San Jose State at home on Tuesday before traveling to San Luis Obispo to play Cal Poly next weekend.

Hawaii falls to 3-9 on their season.
