New venue for the 2009 Dante Benedetti Golf Classic
March 11, 2009
Save the date - the 2009 Dante Benedetti Golf Classic will be held at TPC San Francisco Bay at Stonebrae on September 21, 2009. Scotland? In the Hayward Hills? You might almost believe it after playing TPC San Francisco Bay. Architect David McLay Kidd has designed a wild, rolling, strategic layout for golfers who appreciate a round as eighteen individual and memorable games. McLay Kidd is the designer of Bandon Dunes in Oregon, and has followed that up at this new private club high in hills of Hayward. TPC Stonebrae is a private club, so unless you plan on buying a membership, the 2009 Dante Benedetti Golf Classic may be your only chance to play one of the PGA Tour?s network of premier TPC clubs. You will be able to preview the course up-close when the PGA brings in a Nationwide Tour event, the Stonebrae Classic in April, 2009. The Dante Benedetti Golf Classic is about preserving the 40 year legacy that Dante Benedetti left the University of San Francisco and the San Francisco community. Simply put, helping kids through the game of baseball. Don't forget to save the date to lock in a great day of golf with USF baseball alumni, friends, and family. Thank you in advance for your support and participation. For more information contact Kevin Cronin, dbf@pacbell.net or 925-837-7464
