Mitchell Bialosky Named West Coast Conference Player of the Week

(San Bruno, CA) - Senior first baseman/right-handed pitcher Mitchell Bialosky earned Player of the Week honors for May 5 - May 11 as announced by the West Coast Conference. In helping the Dons go 3-2, including a 2-1 series victory over then No. 8 San Diego, the Yorba Linda, CA native batted .526 (10-for-19) with three doubles, two homeruns, eight RBI and six runs scored. In two relief appearances on the mound, Bialosky went 1-0, 3.38 ERA, allowing just one run off two hits, with two strikeouts and just one walk in 2.2 innings. The Player of the Week accolade is the first for Bialosky.

For the season, Bialosky is batting .339 (74-for-218) with 14 doubles, a team leading seven homeruns, 37 RBI and 39 runs scored. On the mound, he is 5-5, 4.28 ERA with a team leading five saves, 49 strikeouts and just 11 walks in 61.0 innings.
