Solid point guard who is very quick and an excellent defender... accurate passer.
JUNIOR: Averaged 3.5 points and 2.1 assists per game ...averaged 18.2 minutes per contest backing up at the point guard slot...season best 11 points in Ohio win and 10 points in win over Montana ...started 11 contests...was a major figure in the win at San Diego with nine points in last five minutes and drawing a key charge call late in game.
SOPHOMORE: Had an outstanding sophomore season, being named a finalist for the WCC "Defender of the Year" award ...led the WCC in assist-to-turnover ratio (2.48), the only player in the league over 2.0(149 assists, 60 to's)... second in the league in assists per game at 5.14, which he incread to 5.21 in league action...most exciting moment of the season was his buzzer-beating shot to beat St. Mary's in Moraga... averaged 3.0 points and 2.0 rebounds ...led th team in steals at 1.28 per game.
FRESHMAN: Played behind senior starter LyRyan Russell, until he went down...started the last four games of the season...in his first start scored a career high 10 points at San Diego, knocking down four of eight shots...in home finale against Portland recorded 13 assists and had three steals...excellent assist to turnover ratio with 65 assists and 38 to's.
REDSHIRT FRESHMAN: After winning the starting point guard position, injured his knee in the first five minutes of his second game at UC Santa Barbara...had an excellent two exhibition games with 22 assists and just two turnovers... played well in USF's summer European tour after the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: All-BVAF guard and team MVP at Deer Valley HS...also won the coaches' award and top defender award while averaging 18 points, 7 assists and 5 steals per contest ...team captain...made 23 three-pointers as a senior...15 assists vs. Pinole...named to the student-athlete honor roll.
