Jack Kennedy enters his fourth season with the men's basketball
program at the University of San Francisco and was promoted to the
Director of Basketball Operations by head coach Rex Walters for the
2010-11 season. Kennedy spent the previous two seasons on the
Hilltop as the graduate assistant and completed his Master's Degree
in Sports Management at USF in June of 2010.
Kennedy came to USF after earning varsity letters in both
basketball and golf at Grinnell College (Iowa). The Arizona native
spent four seasons with the Pioneers under legendary head coach
David Arseneault. One of the premier offenses in all of college
basketball, Grinnell led the country in scoring during Kennedy's
sophomore season with a then-NCAA record of 126.2 points per game
in 2003-04.
Following his collegiate career, Kennedy began the coaching
journey at St. Gregory College Prep in Tucson where he coached both
middle school and high school basketball. Kennedy also served as a
clinician at the Steve Kerr Basketball Camps.
