Powerful force for USF in the post position...transferred after two seasons at Colorado. JUNIOR: After not playing competitively for two calendar years, Jason made his mark with USF, playing in 29 games with averages of 2.3 points and 2.9 rebounds in 13.8 minutes per game...scored a career high 11 points vs. Longwood...probably his best performance came in USF's win over Gonzaga when he scored nine points, pulled three rebounds and blocked a shot in 21 minutes...blocked 14 shots on the season...scored six points in season high 27 minute performance against Loyola Marymount...pulled seven rebounds in WCC opener at LMU. SOPHOMORE (Colorado) : Played in just seven games averaging 2.0 points and 1.4 rebounds in limited playing time. FRESHMAN (Colorado): in 2001-02, played in seven games averaging 6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2 blocks in average of just 18 minutes...shot 46% from the floor. HIGH SCHOOL: As a senior helped drive Bishop Gorman to runner-up position in Nevada State Championship and a 29-3 mark...averaged 16 points and 13 rebounds...named first team all-state 2000-2001...named all-Conference 1999, 2000, and 2001...selected state and conference MVP as junior and senior...was McDonald's Honorable Mention All-American selection...after 2000 season named as honorable mention All-American by USA Today.
