The USF Green team, paced by 25 points by junior guard Shamell Stallworth defeated the Gold team 69-62 in the annual USF George O'Brien Memorial scrimmage Saturday afternoon at USF.

The Dons, who open exhibition play next Saturday against the Olympic Club, also got 24 points by Darrell Walker, twelve while a member of the Gold team and 12 while playing for the Green. Tayo Akinsete added 23 points for the Gold squad and Hondre Brewer scored 14 points for the Green.

The game marked the USF debuts of point guard Scepter Brownlee , Jerome Gumbs (10 pts., 7 reb.), DeWayne Morris and Michael Chambers (16 points, 4-6 from 3-pt. range).
