Final Stats

(Tempe, AZ) - USF could not slow down a hot shooting Arizona State squad and lost a 104-65 non-conference game Friday afternoon at Wells Fargo Arena. The Dons (2-1) drop their game of the season, while the Sun Devils improve to 4-0 heading into a NIT Quarterfinal appearance Wednesday against Duke.

Arizona State connected on a school record 18 3-pointers and converted on a blistering .563 (18-32) from long distance in the game, many of them contested looks. All told the Sun Devils shot .613 (38-62) from the field and attempted more 3-pointers (32) than two-pointers (30).

Sophomore guard Kwame Vaughn led USF in scoring for the second straight game with 17 points with four rebounds and three assists. Freshman forward Perris Blackwell added 13 points and two boards, while senior Dior Lowhorn chipped in 12 points and four rebounds before fouling out in 24 minutes.

USF continues its road trip at Santa Barbara Monday, November 23 against UCSB. Tip-off against the Gauchos is set for 7:00 PM from the Thunderdome.
