Box Score

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Darrell Tucker scored 23 points and had 12 rebounds as San Francisco beat Cal State Hayward 94-59 Saturday night.

The win snapped the Dons' four-game losing streak.

San Francisco outscored the Pioneers (1-5) 56-20 in the second half after trailing 39-38 at halftime. Five minutes into the second half, the Dons (2-5) reeled off 18 points in seven minutes, giving them a 66-46 lead. Hayward never regained the advantage.

Playing without leading scorer and rebounder Rashad Wright, who had missed the team bus, Hayward led most of the first half, shooting 59.3 percent. Ed Banaszek had 13 first-half points and Brown added 11 for the Pioneers. Wright entered the second half, but only scored one point in 13 minutes of play.

San Francisco's offense stalled in the first half as the team could not convert on its 3-point opportunities, hitting only 18.2 percent from behind the arc. San Francisco's Shamell Stallworth capped first-half scoring with a 3-pointer to close the gap to 39-38.

The Dons host Pacific on December 15.
