SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - James Lee had 19 points and 10 rebounds as San Francisco beat Loyola Marymount 67-63 Saturday night to snap a five-game losing streak.

It was the first West Coast Conference win this season for the Dons (8-13, 1-5). Ali Thomas contributed 13 points.

Loyola Marymount (6-13, 2-4) was without top scorer Elton Mashack, who sprained his ankle in practice on Tuesday.

Robert Davis had 16 points and Pablo Machado added 15 for the Lions, who led 37-35 at the half.

The two teams traded the lead several times in the second half, and the Dons trailed 61-60 with 2:56 left to play.

But Lee's shot with 47 seconds left put San Francisco ahead 62-61. Three Loyola Marymount fouls in the final seconds, including a flagrant foul by Marcus Smith, allowed the Dons to go up 67-61.

Philipp Czernin got a tip-in for the Lions as time ran out for the final margin.

It also was a topsy-turvy first half. The Dons trailed by 16-9 before a 13-3 run capped by Tayo Akinsete's 3-pointer to put San Francisco up 22-19.

The Dons stretched their lead to 30-21 on a pair of quick layups by Lee.

But the Lions went on their own 16-5 run, highlighted by Machado's six points, to take the halftime edge.
