San Francisco, CA - The USF Dons (14-13, 9-5 WCC) finished the WCC's regular season as one of the hottest teams in the league, winning 7 of their last nine games and 13 of their last 20 to finish league play in third place at 9-5. The 9-5 mark equaled the best mark for USF since the program returned in 1985. Now USF enters the WCC postseason tournament at USD's Jenny Craig Pavilion as the league's third seed and opens with a Saturday night game against the winner of Friday night's LMU vs. Portland game. That contest will be USF's first neutral site game of the year. Should the Dons win, they will play #2 seed San Diego on their home floor Sunday night and then possibly advance to Monday night's ESPN televised finale.

USF completed the regular season last weekend with a convincing sweep of LMU (75-69) and Pepperdine (90-82). The Dons after opening the season with a 1-6 mark, have surpassed the .500 mark for the first time this year.
