Complete Release in PDF Format March 26, 2003 The USF Department of Athletics will be honoring the great USF basketball teams of the 1970's in the annual "Night of Champions" auction dinner at War Memorial Gymnasium on May 3rd. Titled "The 1970's: USF Basketball's Decade of Dominance" it will honor the teams led by greats such as the late Phil Smith and the legendary Bill Cartwright. The University of San Francisco Athletics Department invites you to attend its FIFTH ANNUAL NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS this year's theme is: THE 1970'S: USF BASKETBALL'S DECADE OF DOMINANCE Honring the great men's basketball teams and players from the 1970's who helped to renew the storied history of championship basketball teams at the University of San Francisco. SATURDAY, MAY 3, 2003 WAR MEMORIAL GYMNASIUM R.S.V.P. by April 21, 2003 Black tie optional -- Complimentary Valet Parking Available Proceeds benefit USF Athletics & American Cancer Society, in memory of Phil Smith
