USF seniors Darrell Tucker, Shamell Stallworth and Scepter Brownlee dominated the individual honors at the annual USF men's basketball awards banquet held Wednesday night (April 16th) at the swanky Carnelian Room in San Francisco.

Tucker was awarded the Fr. William Dunne Award as the team's Most Valuable Player after leading the team in scoring and rebounding again this season. Guard Shamell Stallworth received the Savio and Kinney Iron Man Award for his achievement of playing in 112 games in his career.

Senior Guard Scepter Brownlee earned the Sixth Man Club Team Captain Award and the team's Most Inspirational Player Award.

Sophomore Jason Gaines received two awards as well; the teams top defensive player award and the Bob Giron Coaches Award. The Giron award is presented to the person who exemplifies the "We Play Hard" attitude.

Junior John Cox was awarded the Most Improved Player award after improving his scoring average to 15.3 ppg. this season.

In addition Tucker and Cox were awarded their first team all-West Coast Conference Awards.
