(San Francisco) - Join USF athletics and the Green & Gold Club as it presents the 24th annual George O'Brien "Green & Gold" Scrimmage games, Saturday, October 25 at War Memorial Gym. This popular event begins immediately following a crucial West Coast Conference match for USF volleyball against No. 18 Pepperdine, set for a 1:00 PM first serve. Come early for the volleyball and stay for the basketball on an exciting day on the Hilltop.

This game is in memory of our dear and loyal friend, George O'Brien. Both Dons basketball teams will be featured in the popular event, with the women's scrimmage set for a 4:00 PM tip-off with the men's immediately following. A post-event reception will close out the festivities, featuring comments from new head men's coach Rex Walters and women's head coach Tanya Haave.
