Men's Golf Finishes 8th at UC Irvine Anteater Invitational

(Irvine, CA) - San Francisco Men's Golf finished the 2008 Anteater Invitational in 8th place at Santa Ana Country Club. USF shot a three-round total of 907 (302, 294, 311).

Tied for 24th, sophomore Chris Cunningham was the Dons top finisher. Cunningham shot a 74 in the first round, Par (72) in the second round, and a 79 in the third.

Santa Clara took first with a three-round total of 857 (286, 281, 290) and SCU's Scott Travers took the individual title, shooting 208 (68, 68, 72).

UC Irvine finished second at 861 (289, 284, 288), with Loyola Marymount finishing third with a three-round total of 866 (288, 288, 290). Also from the West Coast Conference participants, Portland finished fourth at 889 (300, 296, 293).
