Domingo Jojola Wins Medalist Crown at Anteater Invitational

University of San Francisco sophomore Domingo Jojola shot a third round 71 in rainy conditions to win medalist honors with a 54 hole total of four under 212 at the UC Irvine Anteater Invitational that concluded Tuesday at the Big Canyon Country Club in Newport Beach.
Jojola won his second tournament in two seasons at USF after winning the Campbell Invitational last season. During the event he shot two of the five total under par rounds, an opening round 69 and today's 71.
The Dons finished fourth in the event, but just four strokes out of first place with a 54 hole total of 916.
Chris Cunningham also finished in the top-20 with a score of 232.
Host UC Irvine won the tournament by 28 strokes with a 884, beating second place Saint Mary's.
USF is next in action when its hosts the USF Triumph at Pauma Valley on March 12th.
